This is a tried-and-true recipe. I have been making these BBQ beef patties for years. They are not pretty, but they taste good. Use your favorite BBQ sauce on these. Our favorite is Cattleman's...just give me Cattleman's and a spoon and I would be happy! These burgers are only about 58 cents per serving so they also make an inexpensive meal. Enjoy... BBQ BEEF PATTIES
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup BBQ sauce, divided
3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
1 tsp. salt
Combine egg, 1/4 c. BBQ sauce, cornflake crumbs and salt. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 5 oval patties that are about 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick. Place in greased baking pan. Spread with remaining sauce. Bake at -375 got 25- 30 minutes. Drain.
