Candy Bar Cookie Squares

Congratulations again to Kara, Rachel, and Coleen for winning my giveaway. I was already a big fan of each and can't wait to make their favorite recipes! I know they will be great :) Sorry not to have posted a recipe sooner today. I'm making 4 that can be posted tomorrow. Grocery day's always a crazy one for me. I have a ton of catching up to do with my housework. Because of the 70 degree weather my children think we have to be playing outside every waking moment and I have let the cleaning slip the past couple days. Tomorrow it's going to rain and I can get caught up again. I wanted to share this great cookie square recipe with you. I love using cake mixes in things besides just cakes. These squares only have 5 ingredients and have an awesome taste and texture. You would never guess these were made from a mix. Everyone has really enjoyed them and they stay fresh for almost a week if they are wrapped well! You can use the candy bar of your choice. I used 2 Snickers and 1 Hershey bar in mine. Enjoy :)

CANDY BAR COOKIE SQUARES
1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
3 Snickers candy bars (2.07 ounces each) , chopped

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, brown sugar, butter and eggs until well blended. Stir in chopped candy. Spread into a very lightly 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
