Tonight Brad grilled... I'm still not allowed near the grill. A girl starts the grill on fire once and NO one seems to forget it! It was only once, and it didn't ruin the grill. Oh well, I'd rather be cooking in the kitchen anyway. This rib rub was great, but I will warn you... it packs quite a punch. The initial taste's sweet, but after a few chews you start to feel the burn. If you like spicy things you may up the cheyenne a little, but if you're leery of heat you may reduce it. We also had my favorite grilled potatoes. The outside gets crunchy while the inside's soft like a baked potato. The grill gives great flavor. They're a very easy side dish if your already grilling. Enjoy... we sure did :)
PORK RIB DRY RUB
2-3 tsp. pepper
2-3 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup brown sugar
3 tsp. salt
Mix all ingredients and rub onto ribs before grilling.
GRILLED POTATOES
4 potatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 - 2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp parsley
cooking spray
Bake potatoes in microwave until they're tender, but not mushy. Slice in 1/2 inch thick slices (so they look like circles). Lightly spray with cooking spray. Mix all spices and sprinkle over potatoes. Grill until crisp on both sides.
