I grew up eating Barbecued Bacon, but can honestly say this is the first time I've ever saw it make it to the table. Usually it gets eaten straight off the grill. The burned tongue's worth it! The only reason you're seeing this picture's because I threatened my husband. If he had the chance he would eat the whole pound (and he's been known to do it). So, next time you're grilling, pop a pound of bacon on the grill and give it a try. It's easy and delicious. You will be thanking me :)
1 lb bacon
BBQ sauce of choice
Preheat grill on low. Place bacon on grill and cook with lid up about 10 minutes, flipping regularly (it will be starting to brown). Brush BBQ sauce onto one side of bacon. Flip and brush on the other side of bacon. Cook until well browned, but be careful not to let it burn. My husband says not to leave the grill unattended because the grease will cause a fire if you're not watching it carefully.
