Taco Bellies

I hope everyone's recuperated from the holiday hustle and bustle. I'm trying to find homes for all the kids gifts and there isn't enough room. Maybe Santa will buy me a bigger house next year!!! Did anyone get surprise gifts? I had a bit of a red-faced moment. On Christmas Eve my mom, dad and grandma came over to exchange presents. Imagine my face when I opened up a gift from my parents... a pair of G-string underwear that said NAUGHTY across the front!!! My mom drug my dad into a store and they purchased them for me... how embarrassing!!! I was even more embarrassed when my almost 90 year old grandma told my husband she bet he would like to put them on me.
It's been a while, but don't think I've lost my taste for taco-ish foods. I saw this recipe from Melody at Cheat Day Cafe and knew it would be a winner, and it was. Everyone enjoyed this easy and tasty dish. Thanks Melody!! Enjoy :)

TACO BELLIES
1 bag Frito corn chips
1 can chili or leftover chili
Toppings
shredded cheese
shredded lettuce
sliced black olives
diced tomato
diced onion
sour cream
Place chips on plate and top with warmed chili and top with toppings of choice.

That's too funny about the underwear!

The recipe looks great--I love all of your "taco variations"...tacos are always a hit around here!

I need to look around your blog for the video you mentioned. I have been absolutely awful about checking blogs lately and feel terrible about that! I'm going to take a look now!

Heidi--you are ADORABLE! I just finished watching your video! You truly are a natural in front of the camera--as sweet and down to earth as I imagined you to be! I'm really excited to try out that recipe!

LOL about the surprise gift. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if my mother gave them to me, but if it were a mother-IN-LAW well that would be my total undoing, I think. YIKES!

Never too many taco-ish recipes! They're fun, filling, and dee-lish!
