Ever had a mortified Kindergartner? Well, I officially do! She got off the bus yesterday wearing different shorts than what I sent her to school in. Her sister wasn't shy telling me Sophie was a pee pee pants at school. First off, I was shocked... Sophie had herself completely potty trained by 16 months and hasn't had an accident since. I started to worry thinking she may have a kidney infection, but then she explained what happened. Soph has this little problem at home sometimes. She doesn't scoot far enough back on the seat and misses the hole in the potty. Usually at home the mess goes on the floor and then good ol' mom has to clean it up (I'm use to it with a 3 year old boy... and a husband who doesn't like to turn the bathroom light on if he wakes up in the middle of the night to go!). Unfortunately at school it ran onto the back of her shorts and she had to go to the office to get new ones. I explained it happens sometimes and that isn't considered peeing your pants. I don't think my advice was of any help!
Enough potty mouth... I have a super yummy sugar cookie bar recipe to share with you! It has the delicious taste of a sugar cookie without all the fuss of rolling, cutting and icing each individual cookie. I saw several blogs recently post this idea and I had to try it out. I made them last night for Picky Pants (Makayla) class and she said they were the best cookie she'd ever eaten. I made them today in the school cafeteria and I think they were a hit. I even had several school employees ask for the recipe. Enjoy :)
