I'm so excited to have my BFF (yep, I'm 30 and said BFF. I'm kicking it old school) Bethy as my very first guest blogger. She's beautiful, smart (she will be starting medical school soon...PLASTICS Bethany, PLASTICS.... help a girl out!) and has turned into a great little cook. Without further ado, here's Johnny.... I mean Bethany :)
Hi everyone, I'm Bethany. I'm technically Heidi's cousin (but more like her little sister). I'm sharing my recipe for Hello Dollies. I've heard them called several different things, so you may have made them before and call them something different. I got this recipe a couple years ago when my friend Alyssa brought them over for our weekly "America's Next Top Model" watching. It was kind of our tradition to eat fattening things while watching girls who are way too skinny :) They kind of remind me of German chocolate cake with the coconut. You can leave out the butterscotch if you don't like it, just use a little more chocolate. These bars are super easy and always a hit!
Enjoy :)
Here's Bethany and I at Sophie Doodles birthday party conversing in some deep and intelligent Twilight conversation. (If you couldn't tell, Bethany's the young and beautiful one in pink... and in case you're wondering, the rickety old swing set behind me is no longer with us and has found peace in swing set heaven ;)HELLO DOLLY BARS
