Anyone looking for an easy, yet impressive tasting breakfast (or anytime) treat??? You're in the right place! These little sweeties have the taste of cinnamon rolls and you don't have to slave over a hot oven, spend a ton of time or mess with yeast. That would be an A+++ in my books. My kids think the time consuming cinnamon rolls I usually make are OK, but they went crazy over these. My little 53 lb. worm ate 6 all by herself. She's normally not a fan of bread or sweets, so they must be amazing! Hopefully they put some meat on her scrawny bones. Enjoy :)
CRESCENT CINNAMON ROLLS
Rolls
2 cans refrigerated (Pillsbury) Crescent Rolls
1/4 cup butter (I didn't measure, just spread the dough generously)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar
1 TBSP butter, melted
splash vanilla
1 TBSP milk
Preheat oven to 375.
Mix cinnamon and sugar; set aside. Roll out dough, leaving it whole. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Separate rolls and roll up in normal crescent roll fashion. Place in lightly greased baking dish. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Mix frosting ingredients together until smooth. Spread on warm rolls. Devour :)
