I would like to say, first of all, I'm so happy to be able to post today! I don't know what the problem with the Internet was yesterday, but it wouldn't let me post. It wouldn't load the pages. I would set for 10 minutes and look at a blank screen. How frustrating! Today it seems to be working fine, so I will try to post fast. If you tune in to my blog often, you realize we enjoy our taco inspired meals. I was so excited last week when I received an email from one of my viewers sharing this great recipe for a very versatile and easy taco meat her family enjoys. She's a beautiful stay at home mommy of two little ones who has her own blog Pickles and Watermelon. She also shared some great recipes for rice and beans from her grandma, who's from Mexico. I can't wait to try those out too! We ate this yummy taco meat on taco salad, but it would be great in tacos, nachos, burritos, or even enchiladas. It's super easy and takes limited ingredients, which I love. I wasn't disappointed, this was great! The best thing was having enough to freeze half for another meal. Thanks so much for the great recipe!
EASY TACO MEAT
2 lbs ground beef
2 packets of McCormick Original Taco Seasoning
1 big can of crushed tomatoes. Brown meat, add taco packet and crushed tomatoes, stir, put lid on to simmer and enjoy! Very easy, very good! We use this for Nachos or Soft Tacos with shredded lettuce, cheese, guacamole, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa...whatever you like. Enjoy:)
