It's chocolately! It's super moist! It's completely delicious! It's a cake with miracle whip in it! Yes, miracle whip. You know the stuff you slather on a sandwich? It's not a typo. I'm not crazy (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!) Who knew it could make the most perfectly decadent cake ever??? Well, I did. My Grandma Jean always made chocolate miracle whip cake :) You must try this. It's so good! You will love me forever. Enjoy :)
CHOCOLATE MIRACLE WHIP CAKE
1 cup miracle whip
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
dash salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup cold water
Combine miracle whip and sugar (in a bowl). Stir until smooth. Add vanilla. In a seperate bowl combine flour, salt, cocoa powder and baking soda. Add dry mixture alternately with water into the miracle whip/sugar/vanilla mixture, beginning and ending with dry. Blend well (until smooth) after each addition. Bake in a greased 9 x 13, 2 9-inch circle pans, or a bundt pan for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, your favorite chocolate or vanilla frosting or a yummy glaze. The choice is yours. Live on the wild side :) I did the bundt pan with a glaze and sprinkled it with peanut butter chips, but Grandma Jean always used a chocolate fudge frosting.
