Yummy Bird Nests

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone has a great day. Every year we go to my Grandma's house (just next door). She had 12 children (11 are living). While a lot of them do Easter with their children, many still come to Grandma's. You never know if there will be 15 people or 40! One thing you can count on is great food. I will be toting my camera over to take pictures of the spread and will get lots of recipes to share. The kids and I had a lot of fun making these bird nests. We found the recipe on Kara's Kitchen Creations and Makayla said I had to make them. The nests are a little tricky to form, but they turn out adorable!
YUMMY BIRD NESTS
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups rice krispies

Melt butter in a large bowl in the microwave. Add marshmallows and cook until melted (between 1 minute and 1 1/2 minutes), stirring often. Add vanilla and cereal and stir to combine. Spray hands with cooking spray and shape into nests and place on waxed paper. Let cool until set. (As the nests cool, gravity starts pulling the sides back down. Just push them back together.) Fill with jelly beans.
