I loved these meatballs. MUCH MUCH better than the dirt tasting fish! Brad also thought the fish tasted like dirt, so it wasn't just me and my sick taste buds :) I guess I'm just not a fish person. Brad and the kids love fried catfish, but me... not so much. Everyone (except Picky Pants) ate and enjoyed these meatballs. I got the recipe out of a cookbook put together when our friend Lois turned 60. Since we live in a small town everyone knows each other, so this book was filled with great recipes from friends and family of Lois. This recipe was contributed by her neighbor Barbara. I was excited to make it because I know Barbara's a great cook. Her recipe definitely didn't let me down! They were a little tangy and down right good. What a great treat with mashed potatoes. I made these the night before and Brad put them in the oven for me so they would be done in time for dinner. They have to bake for 1 1/2 hours, but it was well worth the wait! Enjoy :)
