Drum roll..... the winner of the one year subscription to Simple & Delicious magazine is Donna-FFW. Congratulations Donna!! I wish I could give away subscriptions to all 33 who took the time to enter, but a lunch lady salary doesn't stretch that far :) I thought since Donna was the winner I would post these delicious brownies I made from her site My Tasty Treasures. Donna's site's a little racy and a whole lot of fun. I'm a huge fan of her recipes and she always makes me laugh. When Donna said these brownies would now be her go-to recipe I knew I must try them. They were unlike any brownie recipe I've created from scratch and I couldn't wait to get cooking. I've tried many brownie recipes to always be at least a little disappointed they weren't more similar to the boxed mix. These fugdy, gooey, chocolate morsels didn't disappoint! Donna said they were firefighter approved, so I whipped up a batch along with Snickerdoodle Blondies for my husbands firefighter training. She must have been right because the platter came back completely clean.... Enjoy :)
DONNA'S ONE BOWL BROWNIES
1 12-ounce bag chocolate chips (use the kind you prefer)
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ts vanilla
4 large eggs at room temperature
1 ½ cups flour
½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips. Stir constantly and remove from heat when chips are fully melted. In the same pot, blend in the sugar and vanilla. Then add eggs, blending fully one at a time. Add flour and salt and beat until air bubbles form in the batter. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan (this recipe works great doubled and poured into a large 11 x 17-inch rimmed baking sheet). Bake for 20 minutes. Turn heat down to 325 degrees and bake for 10 more minutes. *I had to bake an additional 10-15 minutes)

Willoughby- They were great. That Donna does have some wonderful recipes!! You didn't think the list of favorites was really me because of the lack of taco-ish recipes... but did you notice the nachos!!! I have decided I have to post a Taco Soup because I've posted taco everything else!!!
I'll just use tape just to be safe!
Hope your having a nice weekend!

I'm a great fan of Donna's cooking as well. I don't know how she does everything she does. She's amazing.
