Honey BBQ Ribs

January may be a cold month (at least here in Missouri it is), but don't fret. You can still enjoy wonderful BBQ ribs without freezing your fanny off grilling. These delicious ribs are from the 30 Meals in One Day cookbook Dinner is Ready!. Pull out your crock pot and get ready for lots of compliments at the table. These ribs are quick, easy and freeze wonderfully! They reheat well for lunches. Enjoy :)

HONEY BBQ RIBS
3 lbs boneless pork ribs
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1/2 TBSP liquid smoke

Place pork ribs in bottom of slow cooker. Cover and cook on High for 3 hours. Drain and discard liquid. Reduce heat to Low. In a bowl, combine garlic salt, pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, honey, spicy brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Mix well. Pour over ribs in slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 3 hours.

*To freeze ribs allow to cool and place in a freezer bag. When you want to use them just thaw and heat.

I'll have to make these for my sister -- she loves ribs!

When you broil the grapefruit, the sugars crystallize and become more sweet than a typical grapefruit. My mom (who always has her grapefruit with sugar) didn't need any sugar for hers!

Stopping by from SITS; love all of the recipes and I love, love that you can freeze the ribs for later use. I'd never thought of that before!

Hi Heidi! My name is Paige, and I just came across your cooking blog. I found it through "Mommy's Kitchen". Anyway I love to cook so I am now following you. I just watched your video on the saltine toffee, and I cannot wait to try it. I also have a cooking blog. I just started it and it's not as good as some. But since I love to cook I thought why not. http://paigesrecipecorner.blogspot.com/

I hope you have a wonderful day!
