Oreo Truffles

Everyone probably already has this recipe, but just in case there's someone who doesn't I must spread the word. And the word is... YOU MUST TRY THESE, THEY'RE GREAT (Ooops, that's 6 words, but you get the point). My friend Mark brought these to work last summer and raved about them. They made me drool, so I had to get the recipe! I couldn't believe how easy and few ingredients they take. I've made them several times now and they're always a hit. Enjoy :)

OREO TRUFFLES
1 (16 ounce) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies (not double stuffed)
1 (8 ounce) package Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. almond bark or candy coating

Crush cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; place in medium bowl. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin.) Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Place in freezer for 30 minutes or refrigerator several hours. This makes dipping easier. Melt almond bark and dip balls (I use a toothpick); place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. Store truffles, covered, in refrigerator.

LOVE these! I made them for Christmas and they are now my kids' very favorite treat. They were also a much appreciated part of a cookie exchange that I did with friends.

Our neighbor would give us these for xmas every year and I finally got the recipe from them - they are little bits of heaven! I love how you did white and milk chocolate with the drizzle, very nice!

I am going to have to make these! It sounds so easy but the family will think I spent hours on them. haha

A favorite at our house and yep super easy, I just drop the block of cream cheese into the food processsor after crumbling the cookies and then pulse a few times (less dirty dishes), the kids love to help roll them into balls and dip too. We've also made them using the mint oreos and they are DELICIOUS!
