Ever been in a cooking rut? Ya know... where you can't find anything that sounds good to make? Well, that's me. I never thought me, of all people, would classify in that category. I love to cook. I love food. So please, a little help here. I'm working on my grocery list and would love to hear what recipe you think I should try.
Here's a yummy one from Simple & Delicious. There's not much more comforting than a juicy burger on the grill. These didn't disappoint. They were moist, delicious and perfect. Enjoy :)
ALL-AMERICAN HAMBURGERS
2 TBSP finely chopped onion
2 TBSP ketchup
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp steak sauce
1/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 pound ground beef
4 slices process American cheese
4 hamburger buns, split
8 cooked bacon strips
Optional toppings: lettuce leaves and tomato and onion slices
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Top with cheese. Grill 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted. Serve on buns with bacon and toppings of your choice.

As far as your cooking slump, I think we all go through that. When I need some inspiration, I usually search out some authentic ethnic recipes (Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Greek, etc.). I've found some great new recipes that way.
These burgers sound awesome, by the way.
Good luck finding your way out of the slump : )
