Here's where I will be doing all my cooking. I hope you can understand why we changed it. I couldn't visualize myself cooking in a kitchen without counter top covering the entire cabinet surfaces and I wasn't fond of the huge burn mark in the floor!
This is my dining room. The previous owners had turned it into a laundry room, but I turned it back since having a place to eat would be a priority in my books :)
>Here's a yummy soup to warm you up on those cold winter days. I have several other great soups waiting to be posted. I'm normally not fan of ground turkey, but this recipe totally works it. I'm digging it. It's thick, almost chili-like and healthy to boot. You can feel good about eating this one. Enjoy :)
SANTA FE SOUP
1 lb ground turkey breast
1 large onion, chopped
1 pkg. dry ranch dressing mix
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 can diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 can black beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can shoe peg corn (undrained)
1/2 - 1 cup water
Brown turkey and onion. Stir in ranch and taco seasonings. Add remaining ingredients. Heat through and serve (I let mine simmer about 30 minutes). Garnish with sour cream, cheese, jalapenos and corn or tortilla chips. It's yummy with corn bread also.

The soup looks great and perfect for this cold weather! My husband loves all types of beans, so he'll be ecstatic!
