Several years ago my friend Tasha told me how easy and great tasting it was to cook bacon using the oven. First, I thought she'd completely lost her mind, but then I tried it. It's crispy, crunchy and perfect. I'll never worry about grease popping on one the kids again, or get burned with popping grease. If you have never tried this way of cooking bacon, please try it. You will not be disappointed!
CRUNCY OVEN BACON
1 lb bacon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange bacon on baking sheet in a single layer with the edges touching or slightly overlapping.
Bake in preheated oven to desired degree of doneness, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove bacon from the baking sheet with tongs or a fork, and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
