Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn't like a good chocolate chip cookie? These cookies are soft, yummy and a great basic chocolate chip cookie recipe. I used chopped up Hershey's Kisses, but you could also use a chopped candy bar or plain chocolate chips. The kids and Brad say they're delicious.

CHUNKY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 cups plus 2 TBSP flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chunks (or chips)

Sift flour, soda, and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour mixture; stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm. Preheat oven to 350. Drop by rounded tablespoons 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on baking sheet a few minutes before removing.
