Crock Pot Nacho Supreme and a WINNER!!

Remember those yummy crock pot burritos I posted a few weeks ago? I loved the easy and inexpensive filling and received many great comments and emails from you guys. I even saw them posted with great reviews on several blogs. I loved the fact I had a great big bag full of the meat and bean mixture in my freezer, but wanted to use it in another way. I spoke with a friend (who's a follower too, Hi Trina!) who came up with the great idea of using the leftover filling to make nachos. We both agreed these were even better than the burritos! If you made the burritos and have a bag of the filling leftover in the freezer you must defrost it ASAP and make these nachos. If you haven't tried this great crock pot filling you must! It really is great and a LOT cheaper than buying nachos at Taco Bell! I hope you try this recipe soon. Enjoy :)

The winner of the Beef Grilling Bag is: Donna-FFW. Congrats Donna! Please email me your address so I can pass it along to the beef people.

I made the crock pot burritos last Sunday and thought it was a little runny for burritos (maybe I put too much water), so I used it for Nachos instead and it was wonderful!

Nachos are in a comfort-food category all their own... There is something about the warm, spicy meat, melty cheese and cold sour cream that makes me happy! :-) Maybe that's why I like all (American) Mexican food...!

Using the crockpot for the filling would make this perfect party food!

Ilike this photo.. Just something to think about, sweep the crumbs and stuff off the plate. It will make the food look even better.

Food is all about the details! even if it is quick and easy.

I find it inconceivable that you can share this many recipes. I hate to cook!

I love the music on your blog, usually I turn it off immeiately, but it really works here!

Usually I am not this critical.. Just liked your blog.. Ha. sounds counter intuitive...

It was the spiderman cooking woman spraying webz all over the oven that got me. I like it!!

I know this is an old post but I just found it. LOL

This was so good! It was like eating fast food but healthy! I made my own fat free re-fried beans and my own low fat cheese sauce to go over the top. I also made the tortilla chips from low carb tortillas I had and I always make my own taco seasonings so it doesn't have sugar or MSG. LOL

Thanks for the great recipe!

(BTW: I linked to it on my blog today) ;)

Found your recipe on Pinterest. :) Made it tonight--tasty, but I'll need to cut the fluids next time...more like soup. :) Used ground turkey, too, and it's being scarfed down. Thanks! (Love that you can freeze it successfully, too.)
